Prototype of this model is German 3-masted school-ship bark built in the beginning of XX century. Model was built on the order of private collector as a copy of existing model that resides in Bremen Marine museum. Presented photo shows the model before the last stage of the construction – mounting of rig and rigging. Anyone can imagine scope and complicity of work, looking at the stern superstructure – it consists of 317 details. For construction of model hard wood, silver, bronze, copper, brass and other materials were used, that brings a tincture of authenticity and solidity. Stern decoration and name of a ship was made from brass plate and then engraved. Style of this model is emphasized by turned stanchions, bronze bollards, navigation lamps made of blackened brass...
